Supaflu makes a strong and durable cast-in-place chimney lining and relining product that creates a one-piece, smoke- and air-tight liner that can stand up to the intense heat in your system and strengthen the chimney itself. In some cases, chimneys that might have needed a tear down can be strengthened and saved with the addition of the Supaflu Chimney System.

How Is The Supaflu System Installed?

Cast-in-place lining works pretty much exactly like it sounds — we cast the new liner using the poured Supaflu material right inside of your chimney.

To prepare for the installation, we’ll inspect and sweep the flue (and if there’s an already damaged liner in the flue, we’ll remove it). Next, a custom-sized, inflatable rubber former is inserted into your chimney, and the Supaflu lining material is pumped in. Overnight, the Supaflu material will harden and cure. Once the process is complete, we can deflate and remove the former, revealing a smooth new chimney flue liner.

Supaflu certainly isn’t the only lining repair or relining option (we also install HeatShield® products and a various other flue liners), but it’s one that we’ve found to be highly effective and incredibly durable. Many in the industry consider cast-in-place liners to be the most “permanent” relining option.
